At Longoriahaus, your dog will begin their refresher training program in a controlled learning facility. This environment allows us to introduce new concepts and build foundational skills with minimal distractions. Once your dog has a solid grasp of these basics, they’ll transition to a comfortable home environment with their assigned dog trainer. This crucial step helps them generalize their learning to a more typical home setting, making the transition back to your house smoother. To ensure personalized attention, each dog trainer cares for a limited number of dogs at any given time.

At Longoriahaus, we believe in keeping you fully informed! We provide comprehensive weekly training updates for all Board & Train clients. You’ll receive a detailed summary outlining your dog’s progress, the skills they’re learning, any fun outings they’ve experienced, and what’s planned for the upcoming weeks. These updates also include action photos and videos so you can visually see your dog’s development and how much fun they’re having!

At Longoriahaus Dog Training, we are deeply committed to helping you achieve long-term success with your dog. Our training programs are designed to create reliable, lasting behavior improvements that align with the goals set at the outset of your journey with us. Upon completion of the program, your dog will be able to demonstrate the behaviors we’ve carefully worked on together. That said, consistent reinforcement at home is essential. Your active participation, commitment to the training plan, and willingness to implement our recommendations are crucial to preserving the results we achieve together.

In our Board & Train option, your dog stays with us Monday through Friday for both weeks, allowing for maximum focus and immersion. With Day Training, you drop your dog off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon, giving you the opportunity to enjoy evenings together while still getting professional training during the day. Both include homework and at-home trainings that are recommended to imbed the well-behaved behavior in your lifestyle.

Even well-trained dogs can develop new habits or need a confidence boost, especially if training hasn’t been consistently reinforced. The Tune-Up brings your dog back to their best, making life easier for both of you and making their best behavior last.

Yes! If your dog has developed new challenges like pulling on leash, jumping on guests, or getting distracted in public, we can address them as part of the program. We will learn about your specific goals during the phone consultation.
